Starting this year off on the right foot. "Learning to eat Healthy"

Hello Everyone, Yea I finally sat down and got this Blog going. I hope that this will encourage everyone that is really ready to start eating healthy.

We need to ask ourselves why do we want to eat healthy?

of course #1 reason to loose weight, now we need to ask ourselves why do we want to loose weight?

When I started eating healthy or as some people want to say my "diet" It was becasue I started thinking about my husband's health and my children. I don't want my children to be without their parents. I knew at that point I had to do something. So I started praying and asking God for the strentgh, I knew I could not do this without Him. " Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. " Every time I see something I want to eat that I know I really should not eat I close my eyes and say Philippians 4:13 to myself.

I have been eating healthy for 10 weeks now and To God's Glory I have lost 16 1/2 pounds. It's all Him I could not have done it by myself. Thank you Jesus!!!!!!!!!!

My daughter Jessica started at the same time that I did and she has lost 12 pounds, Praise God!!!! My younger daughter Kimberly and my husband Ricky are all so supportive. Everyone wants to eat right and excercise.

I am starting this blog in hopes that I can be of some encouragement to those out there that are on diets or "eating healthy"

When we are on diets we need Group Support. (Our family, friends, Blogger Buddies) we all need to be a team.....

Like snowflakes by themselves melt on your hand, but they are powerfull when they stick together.

Like minded people going through the same thing. That is what we are.

So are we ready to do this!!!!!!!! Yes We Are!!!!!!!!!

Remember to Choose healthy!
Eat a good meal before you go shopping.
Keep healthy 2 pts. snacks in your pocket.
Keep water in your car.
Make healthy food choices.

When you are fixing you plates remember that Portions are very important. We don't need large portions. ( Remember Jesus feed the 5000 with only 5 loaves and 2 fishes. Mark 6:37-44)

When you have a gift to give someone make them a healthy food gift basket. Pass on the gift of good health.

I am excited about this and I hope in some way that God through me will encourage someone.
